Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy explains how you can cancel your TidyMonitor subscription and how refunds work. TidyMonitor is a subscription-based website and API monitoring service. This policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.

1. Free Trial

New users get a free trial before any charge. You are not billed until the trial ends, so you can evaluate the service first. If you cancel during the trial, you are never charged.

2. Cancellation

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard, or by emailing [email protected].
  • Your plan stops renewing immediately — no further charges are made.

3. Pro-rated Refunds

We believe you should only pay for the time you actually use. When you cancel a paid plan, we refund the unused portion of your current billing period, pro-rated to the day.

  • Refund = amount paid × (unused days ÷ total days in your billing period).
  • We count only the full days you actually used — the day you cancel is on us, not charged.
  • For example, cancelling an annual plan with 9 of 12 months unused refunds roughly three-quarters of what you paid.
  • You keep full access up to the moment you cancel; the refund covers the remaining, unused days.

4. How to Request a Refund

Cancel from your account dashboard, or email [email protected] from your account email address. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
