Before we message you, a second location checks too. If your website answers there, we stay quiet and you keep sleeping. If it is still down, you hear from us.

Our checkers in different locations each look at your website on their own. A problem on one road to your website does not fool all of them.

Why more than one location helps
Your website can look fine from one location and fail from another. Often the fault is on the road between, not in your website. When checkers in different locations each look on their own, a fault on one road is easy to spot, and we do not wake you for it. When they agree that your website is down, we message you.

- Two locations check every minute. When they disagree, a third gives its opinion and the majority decides.

- More than one location has to confirm your website is down before we message you.

What we promise, and what we don’t
We promise fewer false alarms. Not zero, and we won’t pretend otherwise. A website can be down for a short while in a way that only some visitors see, and no tool can read every case perfectly.
